You do not have to be good. You do not have to walk on your knees for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting. You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.

Goin' to the Chapel
Homework assignment for Monday:
Come dressed as you would for an upscale wedding, prepared to sing a song of your choice that you would sing at a wedding.
No wedding is complete without 'how does it feel' by that Dangleo fellow. I can't really understand what he's saying, but I'm sure it is appropriate for the moment, right?
clearly you must wheel in a grand piano, complete with accompanist, make sure your cleavage is protectively ensconced in satin, and sing "makin' whoopee".

A friend of the family sang "Our Love is Here to Stay" at my brother's wedding. I thought it was a nice choice. Who doesn't love a little Gershwin?

OOOHHHH lace gloves. Ave maria. A monocle.
"Oh My Love" by John Lennon. "We've Got a World That Swings" (I know the TMBG cover, but I don't know who wrote it). "The Nearness of You."
Songs I have sung at weddings: "Waiting On An Angel" by Ben Harper. "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison. "Memories to Create" by me.
